Let's get real, if people woke up with superpowers they wouldn't become super-boyscouts or super-cheerleaders. They would rob a bank! Or they would try to conquer the world of course!

So, read all about the european tradition of superhumans. Except for the archetypes James Bond and Sherlock Holmes, Europe hasn't produced a single superhero. But we have a long tradition of criminal masterminds with masks.

Diabolik is probably the most interesting one. Mario Bava's film version "Danger: Diabolik!" (1968) is one of the coolest movies ever made.

I've been watching this show the last couple of weeks and it never gets boring. The actor from "The Football Factory" goes on tour to talk to some of the craziest people in the world. Season 1 was a pretty accurate portrayal of modern England. Nutters!

Season 2 is something totally different.
