A thinking man's stupid comedy. A vain actor, his best friend, and an activist end up at a mutant freak farm run by a weirdo scientist.

This was supposed to be a Butthole Surfers film and the first cut still had that mutant who could ejaculate the word Satan in the snow. It's also got Keanu Reeves wearing a dog costume and Mr. T as the bearded lady. Great movie!

Century Fox originally had such high expectations for the movie known as Freaked that they devised a line of toys , a comic book , and a novel adaptation of the film to correspond with its release. Unfortunately, with the departure of Fox president Joe Roth, FREAKED got put on the back burner, and didn't receive the wide release and studio backing originally envisioned. FREAKED was eventually released on video and there it sat, garnering handfuls of positive reviews and converting new fans through word of mouth alone. Now, it has been digitally re-mastered (no, not by Jimmy Page) and given the deluxe treatment by Anchor Bay in a deluxe 2-DVD set, 12 years after its initial release for the world to finally enjoy. Freaked featured an amazing all-star soundtrack including the works of the Butthole Surfers, Henry Rollins, Paul Leary, Blind Idiot God, and even a full-fledged Parliament Funkadelic reunion on the title track. Plans for the soundtrack never took shape either so now, all we have is the film. If one lessen can be taken from the troubled history of this lost gem, it's that 12 milkmen IS theoretically possible... 13 is just silly! "

The Guardian: "Shooting on the film, which has the working title Inglorious Bastards and which Tarantino has described as an "in-your-face movie", is due to start in the Potsdam Babelsberg studios west of Berlin on October 13.

But the film project by the US director of Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs, which is a remake of a 70s war film by Enzo Castellaris, has already created a furious response from German critics. One said the effects of the "collision" between pulp fiction and Nazi barbarity were "completely unpredictable"."

Times Online: "The controversial director is already in the German capital making his final casting decisions. The star role is to be played by Brad Pitt. His character, Lieutenant Aldo Raine, leads a group of American-Jewish soldiers who are dropped into Nazi-occupied Europe to wreak revenge on the Germans and destroy their morale."

• Why does the English press claim that Germany or the German media has a problem with this movie "before the production has even begone"? Where do you find that "furious response"? That's bullshit. I can't find a single article on Google News Germany, guys. It's the other way around. The German press has welcomed Tarantino in Berlin and they can't get enough exclusive pictures of him eating soup at some restaurant.

Also, it's not true that "Mission Impossible 2 or 3" wasn't allowed to film inside the Reichstag because Tom Cruise is a scientologist. Well, ask the White House whether they would shut it down for three weeks and you would get the same answer, Scientology or not.

Also, a lot of Americans seem to be convinced that there was free beer and free Bratwurst at the Obama event in Berlin. That's not true either. If they would have served free beer, millions of people would have been there.

And if you want pictures of Tarantino drinking beer in Berlin, try Bar 25!

A lot of struggling actors dress up as superheroes on the streets of L.A. They pose for photos with tourists to make a living. This is a film about four of them.

One of the best and most touching documentaries ever! This is as good as "King of Kong" or "Trekkies". You have to see it to believe it. There can be only one Superman and his name is Christopher Dennis!

This looks like a fun movie for everyone. Someone filmed the Monsters Versus Aliens Trailer presentation at Comic Con and it's pretty watchable. Made me laugh!

Gab es für 9 EU bei Satan Hansa und auch überall sonst recht günstig, diese Helge Schneider Edition (4 DVDs). Da ist soviel beklopptes Zeugs plus Audio-Kommentare etc. drauf, dass es eine Freude ist. Natürlich fehlt "Johnny Flash", aber war wohl eine andere Firma gewesen, die wo den gemacht hat. Nicht nur junge Menschen, die Helge Schneider nur als vortrefflichen Hitler-Darsteller kannten, sollten hier ohne Bedenken zugreifen.

Gibt auch sonst im Internet noch reichlich Zeugs vom Helge, was man noch nicht kannte. Mit dabei ist auch der alte Peter Thoms, der schon sehr, sehr alt ist, aber trotzdem eine eigene Fernsehsendung hat, wo 00 Schneider auch gern mal zu Gast ist. Toll!

Filmstew has this quote: "I will also do it in the style of Mel Gibson's Apocalypto... You do it almost like a documentary, but it's a fictional movie, and it will be very brutal. I enjoyed shooting [Tunnel Rats] in South Africa, so I will shoot there again."
