I loved "Saw", one of the best and most effective horrorfilms ever made. What a great ending! The sequel was pretty cool too and the third one is kind of lame, but, hey, people can't get enough of this stuff. Anyway... "Saw" was based on a short film produced in 2003 and it's up on Youtube again. It will probably be offline again soon. So, check it out now or Jigsaw will come and get you!

Hey, if you're gonna have your work censored, you want to know by whom, right? Otherwise you're just getting kicked in the ass by the Invisible Man and that's just frustrating. So, Dick hires a private investigator and thus begins their efforts to unveil the identities of the secret board members. Brilliant. "

Wer mal in diesem Faneditforum blättert, stellt fest, dass die Hardcore-Fans ein ziemlich undankbarer Haufen sind. Kaum ein Geek-Film, der nicht mittels Computerschnitt neu zurechtgeschnitten wurde. Los ging es einst mit dem "Phantom Menace ohne Jar Jar Binks"-Schnitt, aber inzwischen verliert man die Übersicht.

Wie überzeugt manche der Amateur-Schnittmeister von ihren eigenen Versionen sind....

Lob hat allerdings ein junger Mann verdient, der Episode 5 und 6 von Star Wars mit allerlei verschollenem Material, Interview-Ausschnitten, Zusatz-Infos, Storyboard-Einblendungen und ähnlichem versehen hat. Und dazu sind die Filme noch kostenlos im Internetz verfügbar. Das Ergebnis ist so gut, dass George Lucas sich seine popelige Bonus-DVD zur Box der Original-Trilogie an den Hut stecken kann.
