Our real breakthrough came in 2001 when folk music reached New Zealand in the form of a Roger Whittaker EP. Suddenly New Zealanders understood what we had been parodying and 'folk parody' became New Zealand's biggest entertainment craze since rugby was invented (also by us in 1989 at a school social)."
