Author Cory Doctorow will do an "in-game virtual booksigning" on July 24: "To do that, readers just have to bring their copy of his book to the event, and set it on a small table in front of Cory. To autograph it, Cory simply has to mouse-click the book, which causes a digitized picture of his real signature (with author's dedication) to be superimposed on the cover. So signing the virtual edition of his book requires about as much effort as it does when he takes pen in hand to autograph the tree-based version."

Das war diese Woche ein Gedrängel am Eck. Boje Buck dreht seinen neuen Spielfilm und RTL dreht eine Serie namens "Abschnitt 44". So war allerhand Filmpolizei im Einsatz und blockierte den Verkehr für rechtschaffene Taxifahrer und die echte Polizei. Langsam könnte man an der Ecke Dieffenbachstraße eine feste Kamera montieren und nach Bedarf vermieten.

Jetzt kann man auch im Görlitzer Park mondän essen und "Kulturgastronomie" erleben. So nennt man das wohl, wenn man auch mal ein paar Fördergelder für die Kneipe abziehen will und dafür auch mal ein Bild an die Wand zu hängen bereit ist. Aber leckeres Paulaner Helles hats da...

I just finished watching the first season of "Lost" and I will hold my breath until the 2nd season comes out. The first DVD-Box is coming up!

Was Bildblog zur dreiteiligen "Bild"-Serie über Tom Cruise anmahnt, sollte schwer zu denken geben. (Glückwunsch zum Grimme Online Award 2005!) Für die Pipi-Geschichte über den prominenten Scientology-Promoter räumte die "Bild" gleich drei Tage eine ganze Seite frei und schien nicht mal Bedenken zu haben, in Zukunft als Unterstützer der Psychosekte zu gelten. Unfassbar! Hallo, Scientology ist nichts als ESOTERIK AUF DER BASIS BILLIGER SCIENCE FICTION! Ein gewisser Norbert Körzdörfer, einer von diesen Arschkriechern, deren Auffassung von Journalismus darin besteht, sich möglichst oft mit irgendwelchen "Stars" fotografieren zu lassen und textlich ein persönliches Verhältnis zu diesen zu suggerieren, dass es nur so menschelt, hat sich auf alle Fälle für den weiteren Verlauf seiner beruflichen Laufbahn disqualifiziert.

I'm a fan since their debut on "Burt Reynoldy Moustache Records" came out in 1994. I even liked the 7"Boots back then. Yes, I'm that old! Anyway, i just found this website and I have to tell you again that this is one of the greatest bands ever heard of. Can't get any darker or slower!

Parsons Haus in Pasadena war ein Salon für Science Fiction-Autoren, Okkultisten und satanistische Sex-Maniacs. Hubbard wettete, man könne auf den Grundfesten der phantastischen Literatur problemlos eine kommerziell erfolgreiche Religion begründen. Parsons hatte dagegen bereits eine Vision von Hippies und freier Liebe. Er hielt die Menschen für intelligenter und verlor die Wette.
In meinem nächsten Roman mit dem Arbeitstitel "Am Firnament der Hölle" spielt Marvel Whiteside Parsons eine Schlüsselrolle. Die Arbeit auf dieser Nebenbaustelle geht inzwischen zügiger voran als für dieses Jahr geplant.

Nach einem Überraschungsauftritt, einem streng geheimen Gig für irgendwelche arabischen Ölscheichs und Plattenmultis plus dem kurzen Set anlässlich der rauschenden Ballnacht im Anschluß an die Premiere von diesem Film da, spielen die Herren von Hansen nun zur Abwechslung auch mal für das Volk, na toll.
Inzwischen sind sie bekanntlich auch richtig gut in Form und Jürgen Vogel hat nicht mehr soviel Lampenfieber auf der Bühne. Könnte also ein geselliger Abend werden. Von einem Support ist bisher nichts bekannt, aber eventuell tut Felix mit einem seiner grandiosen Akkustik-Sets den Abend ausklingen lassen oder Papa Wiebusch spielt noch ein paar seiner alten Fahrtenlieder und dann "nö sleep til hammerkrank".

Seit einiger Zeit liegt in Berlin ein neues Gratis-Heft mit guten Autoren in der Gegend herum . Es trägt den Namen Schwarzlicht und hat auch eine Website anzubieten.
