Viel nerviger sind Flash-Werbungen, die plötzlich im Hintergrund losdröhnen. Gmx ist da ganz groß...

Wurden die Sehgewohnheiten in der 1. Staffel noch angenehm umgekrempelt, hat man die eigenen Konventionen zum Ende der 2. Staffel festgetreten. Mühsam werden neue Intrigen gesponnen und ein Mordfall aufgeklärt, den man längst vergessen hat. Das Verknüpfen der einzelnen Staffeln zu einem Gesamtwerk ist schon jetz in die Hose gegangen. Schlauer wäre ein halbwegs abgeschlossener Handlungsstrang pro Staffel gewesen. Zum Ende wurde die Serie immer schwächer und entließ sein Publikum mit einer mehr als mageren Doppelfolge in die Sommerpause. Was als bissiger Blick auf das spießige Smalltown Amerika begann, verflachte irgendwann zum formelhaften Standard. Während einem die zahlreichen Figuren der zeitgleich angelaufenen Fantasy-Serie "Lost" ans Herz gewachsen sind, bleiben die Hausfrauen skizzenhaftes Slapstick-Personal. Und während ca. 100 Milliarden Menschen weltweit das Finale der 2. Staffel von "Lost" auf Grund der clever verwobenen Handlungsbausteine kaum erwarten können, kann man sich bei "Desperate Housewives" nur noch mit Mühe an die vorherigen Folgen erinnern.

In der Zeit bis zur 3. Staffel wird man die Serie nicht groß vermissen und wenn es soweit ist, wird man das Publikum mit großem Aufwand oder Gaststars neu gewinnen müssen.

Heute noch gucken: Das hoffentlich grandiose Finale der 5. und bisher besten Staffel von "24", die so ziemlich alles richtig gemacht hat.

Donnerstag: "Lost" - Laut Podcast der macher werden im Finale einige entscheidende Fragen geklärt. Warum ist Flug 815 wirklich abgestürzt? Wo ist Desmond und wo hat er die ganze Zeit gesteckt? Bringt das kleine Segelboot die Rettung oder nur noch mehr Probleme? Warum hat der Hai eine Hanso-Tätowierung? Wird das seltsame Cross-Marketing mit "Sprite" der Serie nicht eher schaden? Steckt DaimlerChrysler mit der Hanso Foundation unter einer Decke? Und was passiert, wenn der Knopf im Bunker nicht alle 108 Minuten gedrückt wird? Die drei Trailer zum Finale "Live Together, Die Alone" lassen auf ganz großes Kino hoffen.

Vor allem die Story in Sachen Friedrichshain mögen sich auch all die Milchschaumschläger zu Gemüte führen, die sich zur Zeit wieder so mächtig entsetzt geben weil es wegen der WM gerade wieder Zeitgeist ist oder weil die Toten Hosen & Co eine Gratis-DVD ins Netz gestellt haben.
